Visit Central Wedge Cheese Shop in downtown Carlisle for a wide selection of Pennsylvania-made artisan, farmstead, and specialty cheeses! Owner Stephanie Beeman uses her experience and training to select the best cheeses from sharp cheddar to brie, representing 30+ Pennsylvania cheesemakers.


During your visit, sample a few customer favorites from the wide selection of about 95 unique cheeses. You’ll feel closer to the cheesemaker and farmer once you learn how their choices on the farm create delicious, quality cheeses!


While you’re there, you can also shop for all the necessities to create a cheese and charcuterie board at home or enjoy a meal from their café menu which features salads, paninis and grazing boards.

We love to bring you up close and personal to where your food comes from!  Four generations work on this dairy farm 365 days a year to bring you delicious milk, ice cream and other farm fresh products! Stop by our retail store to shop for meat and dairy products, and bring the kids to explore the play areas, petting zoo or to go on a tour. Destiny Dairy Bar is proud to serve ice cream churned straight from our herd of A2 dairy cows!


We serve 14+ deliciously creamy flavors in dish or cone, fun sundaes like the Guernsey Grapenut and the Goat Boat (our take on the Banana split) or order a milkshake with your choice of ice cream AND one of our 11 flavors of our own creamline milk! Also serving fresh cold brew coffee as an Affogato (with salted caramel is life changing) or cold foam cold brew!


While you’re here, visit the calf barn to see our babies, play with the goats and pigs in our petting zoo area, or watch milking from our observation deck!  Get up close and personal with our bovine beauties who make our incredibly rich ice cream. Watch for Farm to Table Dinners and on-farm barbeques featuring our farm raised waygu-crossed beef.

Gilded Door Pantry is an award winning (Honorable Mention, Best of Cumberland Valley) "Foodie Destination" in an elegant 1850s historic building in downtown Carlisle, with sections dating back to the 1760s. Gilded Door Pantry features Beanies Instant coffee imported from England in 35 flavors and snacks, and an extensive variety of oils, vinegars, and other foodie gifts!


Guests enter through original historic double doors (the namesake "Gilded Door") and a preserved 14" high vestibule with metal ceilings into the main retail area around a three-story Victorian spiral staircase. If you're lucky, you might even "encounter" an original resident or two while perusing the many wonderful selections! With a large parking lot and an ADA accessible entrance in the rear, Gilded Door Pantry is a unique foodie experience that is truly available to all.

Welcome to our farm! In our market you’ll find our famous, homemade Dutch Touch Pretzels, plus on Thursdays we offer soft pretzels! We carry fruits and vegetables, homemade yogurt, ice cream, homemade milkshakes, subs, deli meat and cheeses, and baked goods. Stop in and try our homemade fresh ground peanut butter, fresh milk and eggs, flowers, coffee, or homemade root beer. We also carry honey and maple syrup. This is the first year we are carrying poly furniture. Try our rootbeer floats while you shop! We look forward to meeting you!

Experience great farming fun at Mt Airy Orchards. The farm store offers fresh fruits and vegetables, local meats, dairy, and gift items. Make sure you check out the observational beehive! From the deck you can order old-fashioned, handspun milkshakes, ice cream, salads, burgers, wraps and sandwiches. Pick-your-own strawberries (June), raspberries (late June-mid July), blueberries (July-August), blackberries (mid July–early September), apples (September-October), and pumpkins (mid September – October). Summer festivals are a highlight with huge craft shows featuring local artisans. Every weekend in the fall is a Fall Festival Weekend with tractor-pulled wagon rides, pick-your-own, and a Fall Fun Admission Area that includes a corn maze, jumping pillow, mega slide and more.

U-pick flowers are available July-September and pumpkins are available September-October.

Talking Breads is an open-concept farm bakery offering Old World European bread, baked goods, fresh-pressed juices, coffee, dairy, fruits, veggies, flowers, charuterie, deli items, meats, eggs, and more. Customers can see the enitre bread-making process from field to loaf. The wide variety of rustic whole grain breads includes whole spelt, seeded loaf, pugliese, miche batard, cinnamon raison, rosemary, mixed olive filone, ciabatta, caraway rye, pumpernickel, onion poppy seed, farmhouse round, fig and anise, fruit and nut, Swedish rye and more. Many breads are crafted from fresh flour, which is grown and milled by a local farmer. Baked goods include scones, seasonal turnovers, and hand pies. Customers will also find a variety of cheese sourced from Caputo Brothers in nearby York. Products feature locally-grown, in-season produce.

The Kitchen Shoppe & Cooking School has been in business for 50 years!
